Introduction
We are seeking a professional, licensed Assistant Pharmacist to join our dynamic pharmacy team. Responsibilities
- Assist the lead pharmacist in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Verify patient prescriptions, check for drug interactions, and ensure compliance with local regulations and internal SOPs.
- Maintain and update inventory records, conduct regular stock counts, and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment.
- Provide medication counseling to patients, including dosage instructions, potential side effects, and storage guidelines.
- Operate pharmacy computer systems for prescription entry, billing, and record‑keeping, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Support the preparation of compounded medications in accordance with aseptic techniques.
- Participate in daily shift handovers, documenting any critical issues or observations.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team on quality improvement projects and continuous education initiatives.
- Adhere to hygiene and safety protocols, including proper disposal of expired or recalled products.
- Assist in handling customer inquiries, both in‑person and via phone or digital platforms, delivering a courteous and professional experience.
Requirements
- Female candidates only (as per company policy).
- Minimum education: Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (D4) in Pharmacy.
- Active Surat Tanda Registrasi (STR) license issued by the Indonesian Pharmacists Association.
- Open to fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends (Monday – Saturday).
- Proficient in using pharmacy management software and standard office applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Basic knowledge of medication management, distribution, and regulatory compliance.
