Introduction

We are seeking a professional, licensed Assistant Pharmacist to join our dynamic pharmacy team. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to work in a fast‑paced environment where accuracy, patient safety, and teamwork are paramount. The ideal candidate will be a detail‑oriented individual with a solid foundation in pharmaceutical sciences, ready to contribute to both the operational and clinical aspects of our pharmacy.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the lead pharmacist in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify patient prescriptions, check for drug interactions, and ensure compliance with local regulations and internal SOPs.
  • Maintain and update inventory records, conduct regular stock counts, and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment.
  • Provide medication counseling to patients, including dosage instructions, potential side effects, and storage guidelines.
  • Operate pharmacy computer systems for prescription entry, billing, and record‑keeping, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Support the preparation of compounded medications in accordance with aseptic techniques.
  • Participate in daily shift handovers, documenting any critical issues or observations.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team on quality improvement projects and continuous education initiatives.
  • Adhere to hygiene and safety protocols, including proper disposal of expired or recalled products.
  • Assist in handling customer inquiries, both in‑person and via phone or digital platforms, delivering a courteous and professional experience.

Requirements

  • Female candidates only (as per company policy).
  • Minimum education: Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (D4) in Pharmacy.
  • Active Surat Tanda Registrasi (STR) license issued by the Indonesian Pharmacists Association.
  • Open to fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends (Monday – Saturday).
  • Proficient in using pharmacy management software and standard office applications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Basic knowledge of medication management, distribution, and regulatory compliance.
