We are expanding our sales force and are looking for a motivated Assistant Field Sales – Agriculture to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular field visits to farms across one designated regency, presenting product portfolios and providing technical advice on usage.
- Demonstrate proper application techniques for pesticides, seeds, and fertilizers, ensuring farmers understand safety and efficacy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, distributors, and local agronomists to generate repeat business.
- Identify new sales opportunities, gather market intelligence, and report competitor activities to the regional sales manager.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets by executing promotional activities, sampling programs, and upselling complementary products.
- Prepare accurate sales orders, update customer records in the CRM system, and coordinate with logistics for timely product delivery.
- Collect feedback from the field, relay product performance issues, and suggest improvements to the product development team.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, maintain a clean personal presentation, and uphold BBB’s brand standards during every interaction.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; preference for candidates with a diploma (SMK) in Agricultural Science.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in agricultural marketing, sales, or field promotion.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural products, especially pesticides, seeds, or fertilizers.
- Target‑oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Willingness to work mobile, travel extensively within the assigned regency, and conduct on‑site visits.
- Own a reliable motorbike, possess a valid SIM C, and have a smartphone with a minimum of 4 GB RAM.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, coupled with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
- Self‑discipline, strong time‑management, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with the broader sales team.
- Age ≤ 40 years, open to all genders.
- Immediate availability to start.
