Introduction

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Kitchen Operations – Cook Helper to join our dynamic Food & Beverage team. The role is based at our flagship restaurant, operating six days a week, and offers a structured schedule that promotes work‑life balance.

Responsibilities

  • Assist head chefs and line cooks in preparing ingredients, including washing, chopping, and portioning vegetables, meats, and seafood.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station by regularly sanitizing surfaces, equipment, and utensils according to food safety standards.
  • Support inventory management by receiving deliveries, labeling, rotating stock, and reporting low‑stock items to the kitchen supervisor.
  • Execute simple cooking tasks such as grilling, sautéing, and assembling plated dishes under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure consistency and quality of each dish.
  • Assist with waste reduction initiatives by properly storing leftovers and adhering to portion‑control guidelines.
  • Collaborate with front‑of‑house staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and respond promptly to special dietary requests.
  • Participate in daily briefings, safety drills, and continuous‑learning sessions to stay updated on menu changes and hygiene protocols.
  • Provide courteous and helpful service to fellow team members, fostering a cooperative and positive kitchen atmosphere.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Age: 35 years or younger.
  • Gender: Open to all genders.
  • Prior experience in the F&B industry is preferred but not mandatory; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
  • Strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to rotating shift schedules (including early mornings, evenings, and weekends).
  • Basic cooking skills and a genuine interest in expanding culinary knowledge.
  • Commitment to adhering to food safety regulations and maintaining a spotless kitchen environment.
