Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing financial statement audits for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Collect, test, and evaluate audit evidence, ensuring that all documentation meets professional standards and regulatory requirements.
- Perform substantive procedures, including analytical reviews, substantive testing of balances, and verification of transactions.
- Conduct compliance checks against applicable accounting frameworks (GAAP, IFRS) and local tax regulations.
- Document audit findings, prepare workpapers, and draft clear, concise audit reports for senior review.
- Collaborate with audit team members to coordinate fieldwork schedules, share insights, and resolve complex issues.
- Evaluate internal controls, identify control weaknesses, and suggest practical remediation measures.
- Support senior auditors in presenting audit results to client management and answering follow‑up questions.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry‑specific accounting standards, emerging regulations, and best practices.
- Travel to client sites as required, often working evenings or weekends to meet tight deadlines.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in accounting, tax, or audit functions.
- Strong understanding of GAAP or IFRS principles and Indonesian tax legislation.
- Proficiency with major accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or comparable systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, V‑lookups, and data modeling.
- Willingness to travel out‑of‑town and work overtime when audit timelines demand.
- Excellent analytical abilities, high attention to detail, and the capacity to work under pressure.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate within a team environment.
- Adaptable mindset and strong problem‑solving orientation.
- Additional language proficiency in Mandarin is highly desirable.
