Introduction

We are seeking a professional and personable Receptionist to become the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and partners at our office in Pemalang. This role is pivotal in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate is a well‑groomed, disciplined female professional, no older than 28 years, with at least a high school diploma (SMA/SMK) and a genuine passion for serving people.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome all guests in a courteous and friendly manner, managing check‑in procedures efficiently.
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls, taking accurate messages when necessary.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized reception area, ensuring all promotional materials and company literature are up‑to‑date.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and package deliveries, logging all items for record‑keeping.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and managing conference room bookings using the company’s management software.
  • Provide basic administrative support, such as data entry, filing, and preparing simple reports.
  • Coordinate with other departments to relay visitor requests, ensuring prompt follow‑up and resolution.
  • Monitor security protocols, issue visitor badges, and maintain visitor logs in compliance with company policies.
  • Support shift rotations and be flexible to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, including occasional overtime during peak periods.
  • Identify and troubleshoot minor technical issues with office equipment, escalating more complex problems to IT as needed.

Requirements

  • Female, maximum age of 28 years.
  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Prior experience as a receptionist or front‑desk staff is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for customer service and hospitality.
  • Well‑groomed appearance and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Proficiency in common office and management software (e.g., Microsoft Office, reservation systems, basic CRM tools).
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team, demonstrating sound analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Willingness to work shifts and prioritize candidates residing in or near Pemalang.
