Introduction
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Barista to join our dynamic coffee‑house team. Responsibilities
- Prepare a wide variety of espresso‑based drinks, pour‑over coffees, cold brews, and seasonal specialties according to company recipes and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other café equipment, performing routine cleaning and basic troubleshooting.
- Provide friendly, attentive service to customers, taking orders accurately, answering product questions, and offering personalized recommendations.
- Handle cash, credit, and mobile payments efficiently, ensuring accurate transaction processing and reconciliation at shift end.
- Manage inventory levels, receive deliveries, and restock coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other consumables to prevent shortages.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workspace, adhering to food safety regulations and health‑code requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold a welcoming atmosphere, assisting with opening and closing duties as needed.
- Participate in ongoing training programs to stay current with brewing techniques, new menu items, and customer service best practices.
- Collect and act on guest feedback, contributing ideas for menu improvements and service enhancements.
- Support promotional activities, loyalty programs, and community events that drive brand awareness.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in a coffee shop, café, or a related hospitality setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and a genuine passion for coffee culture.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks such as grinding beans and steaming milk.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language abilities are a plus.
- Young, energetic, and eager to learn, with a willingness to take on new responsibilities.
