Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Professional Barista to join our vibrant café team. Responsibilities
- Craft premium coffee and tea drinks: Prepare espresso‑based beverages, pour‑overs, cold brews, and specialty teas, ensuring consistency in taste, temperature, and presentation.
- Maintain equipment and workspace: Clean and calibrate espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and steam wands daily; perform routine checks to prevent downtime.
- Customer interaction: Greet guests with a friendly demeanor, take orders accurately, suggest menu items, and handle special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Cash handling and POS operation: Process payments efficiently, issue receipts, and reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift.
- Inventory management: Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, teas, syrups, milk, and disposables; communicate replenishment needs to the manager.
- Health, safety, and hygiene compliance: Follow food‑service regulations, maintain personal hygiene standards, and enforce proper sanitation practices throughout the café.
- Team collaboration: Work closely with fellow baristas and kitchen staff, assisting during peak periods and participating in regular training sessions.
- Continuous improvement: Stay updated on emerging coffee trends, attend tastings, and contribute ideas for menu innovation.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Open to candidates of any legal working age.
