Responsibilities

  • Prospect and engage potential borrowers, presenting Amartha’s capital‑access programs and guiding them through the application process.
  • Conduct on‑site household economic assessments, offering tailored financial literacy coaching and ongoing support to existing members.
  • Perform detailed surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring compliance with internal risk policies, regulatory standards, and documentation requirements.
  • Coordinate collection activities, follow up on repayment schedules, and negotiate payment plans when necessary while maintaining respectful client relationships.
  • Maintain accurate field records using Amartha’s digital tools, updating client profiles, and reporting key performance indicators to the regional manager.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—such as credit underwriting, operations, and product development—to relay market insights and suggest product enhancements.
  • Represent Amartha at community events, local business gatherings, and training workshops to strengthen brand visibility and trust.
  • Ensure personal safety and adherence to company protocols while working in diverse field environments.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Age between 18 and 30 years; maximum age limit of 33 years for senior applicants.
  • All genders are welcome; preference given to candidates with strong communication skills.
  • Possession of a reliable personal vehicle for daily field visits.
  • Demonstrated integrity, honesty, meticulousness, and a disciplined work ethic.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation abilities, with the capacity to build trust in rural and urban communities.
  • Resilience and adaptability to work independently in varying weather and terrain conditions.
  • No prior experience required; however, experience in sales, community outreach, or micro‑finance is a plus.
  • Basic digital literacy – ability to navigate Amartha’s mobile and web applications for data entry and reporting.
