Introduction
PT. Morowali Solutions is seeking a dedicated Collector Lapangan (Field Collector) to join our dynamic finance team in the Morowali region. This role is pivotal in maintaining healthy cash flow by engaging directly with customers, collecting outstanding payments, and fostering positive relationships that encourage timely settlements. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of the local area, and the ability to work independently while meeting aggressive collection targets.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site collection activities by visiting assigned customers and presenting payment options in a professional manner.
- Negotiate repayment plans, resolve disputes, and apply persuasive techniques to secure overdue balances.
- Retrieve payments from customers, verify cash or electronic transfers, and ensure proper documentation.
- Prepare detailed daily and weekly visit reports, including status updates, payment receipts, and any follow‑up actions required.
- Monitor and achieve monthly collection targets set by the finance manager, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in the company’s CRM system, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Identify high‑risk accounts and flag them for further review, contributing to the overall risk management process.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to understand client histories and tailor collection approaches.
- Provide feedback on common payment challenges and suggest improvements to billing processes.
- Adhere to all company policies, local regulations, and ethical standards while performing collection duties.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in collection or a related field; 2 years preferred.
- Male candidates only, as specified by the current operational requirement.
- Valid Indonesian driver’s license (SIM C) and ownership of a reliable two‑wheel vehicle.
- Thorough knowledge of the Morowali area, including key routes and customer locations.
- Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations calmly.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail for accurate reporting.
- Proficiency in using mobile devices and basic office software for data entry and report generation.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and remain motivated under pressure.
- Commitment to a full‑time schedule: Monday‑Friday, 08:00 – 17:00.
