Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and customer‑focused Customer Relations Officer to join our growing team in Sumedang. This frontline role is essential to delivering a seamless, professional experience for our clients who engage with our pawn‑shop and micro‑finance services. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring that every interaction reflects our commitment to integrity, speed, and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers with a courteous and professional demeanor, building trust from the first moment.
  • Verify and appraise pledged items according to the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), ensuring compliance with legal and quality standards.
  • Execute pawn transactions—including loan disbursement, payment processing, extensions, and settlements—promptly and accurately.
  • Provide clear explanations of loan terms, interest rates, repayment schedules, and any applicable fees, helping customers make informed decisions.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all transactions in the internal management system, guaranteeing data integrity.
  • Identify opportunities to cross‑sell complementary financial products, such as short‑term credit or insurance, in line with company targets.
  • Collaborate with the inventory and security teams to ensure safe storage and proper handling of pledged assets.
  • Participate in regular training sessions and performance reviews to continuously improve service quality.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree is considered an advantage.
  • Age: 29 years or younger (maximum 29 years 11 months).
  • Physical standards: Women – at least 150 cm tall; Men – at least 155 cm tall, with proportionate weight.
  • Professional appearance: well‑groomed, neat, and presentable.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and confidence when interacting with diverse customers.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Key personal traits: meticulous, diligent, resilient, honest, and disciplined.
  • Ability to work quickly while maintaining high accuracy in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Flexibility to be placed in a location that matches the candidate’s domicile.
