Responsibilities
- Assist senior cooks in preparing ingredients, including washing, chopping, and measuring according to recipe specifications.

- Manage storage of perishable items, maintaining proper rotation (FIFO) and temperature controls.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to strict hygiene and food‑safety regulations.
- Support the kitchen team during peak hours by delivering pre‑prepared items swiftly and efficiently.
- Operate basic kitchen equipment such as slicers, mixers, and steamers safely.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or equipment issues to the kitchen supervisor.
- Participate in daily cleaning cycles, including sanitizing surfaces, utensils, and floor areas.
- Demonstrate flexibility by covering additional duties such as dishwashing or pantry organization when needed.
- Uphold a positive attitude, follow instructions promptly, and contribute to a collaborative work culture.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year proven experience in a similar kitchen support or cook‑helper role.
- High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent education.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, portioning, storage techniques, and consistency standards.
- Excellent personal hygiene and a disciplined approach to cleanliness.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately while maintaining composure under high‑pressure situations.
- Team‑oriented mindset with good communication skills.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, honesty, and a willingness to learn.
