Introduction
Seeds Stars Montessori is seeking a dedicated Guru Pengajar Montessori Profesional to join our vibrant team of early‑education specialists. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about nurturing young minds, fostering independence, and creating a joyful learning environment that aligns with Montessori philosophy. The successful candidate will work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, collaborating closely with fellow educators, parents, and administrative staff to deliver high‑quality, child‑centered instruction.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Montessori‑based lessons that promote hands‑on learning, critical thinking, and social development.
- Observe each child’s progress, maintain detailed observation records, and adapt instructional strategies to meet individual learning styles.
- Prepare and organize classroom materials, ensuring the learning environment remains orderly, safe, and aesthetically aligned with Montessori standards.
- Facilitate mixed‑age group activities that encourage peer collaboration, respect, and independence.
- Communicate regularly with parents through conferences, newsletters, and informal updates to discuss each child’s milestones and areas for growth.
- Participate actively in weekly staff meetings, sharing insights, challenges, and best practices to continuously improve the program.
- Attend mandatory internal training sessions and professional development workshops to stay current with the latest Montessori methodologies and early‑childhood education trends.
- Support school events, field trips, and community outreach initiatives that enrich the educational experience for students and families.
- Uphold the school’s policies on discipline, health, and safety, modeling calm and consistent behavior for children.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Early Childhood Education, Montessori Teaching, or a related field.
