Introduction
SPX Express, a leading provider of end‑to‑end logistics solutions in Indonesia, is seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Hub Lead for its Tebing Tinggi operation in Kab. Meranti, Riau. This pivotal role will oversee the day‑to‑day activities of the hub, ensuring that parcels move seamlessly from the moment they are picked up until they reach the customer’s doorstep. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team that values efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and guarantee on‑time delivery of all shipments, coordinating the entire flow from collection to final delivery.
- Act as the primary liaison between the Warehouse team, Line Haul operators, and third‑party logistics (3PL) partners to synchronize schedules and resolve bottlenecks.
- Implement preventive measures to minimize loss, damage, or mis‑routing of parcels, maintaining a high level of service quality.
- Oversee and audit all hub transactions, ensuring accurate documentation, inventory reconciliation, and compliance with company policies.
- Supervise inbound and outbound activities, including loading, unloading, sorting, and dispatching, while adhering to safety protocols.
- Coach, mentor, and develop hub staff, conducting regular performance reviews and identifying training opportunities to boost productivity.
- Analyze operational data using Microsoft Excel to identify trends, forecast capacity needs, and propose process enhancements.
- Lead daily huddle meetings to communicate targets, address issues, and celebrate achievements.
- Ensure that the hub complies with local regulations, customs requirements, and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic initiatives that improve the hub’s overall efficiency and cost‑effectiveness.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any field is highly regarded.
- At least 3 years of supervisory or coordinator experience within logistics, supply chain, or a related industry.
- Proven experience in Last Mile and/or First Mile operations, with a solid understanding of planning, shipping, and warehousing processes.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and decision‑making.
- Excellent leadership and strategic thinking abilities, capable of motivating diverse teams and driving continuous improvement.
- Effective communication and coordination skills to work closely with internal departments and external partners.
- Ability to work flexible hours, Monday through Friday, 09:30 – 18:30, and adapt to operational demands.
- Willingness to reside in or relocate to Tebing Tinggi, Riau (Kab. Kepulauan Meranti).
