Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated and detail‑oriented Cashier to join our fast‑moving retail sales team in Otista, Tangerang. This position plays a critical role in delivering a seamless checkout experience for our customers while upholding the highest standards of accuracy, hospitality, and operational compliance. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in food‑and‑beverage (F&B) cashier work, be comfortable working in a shift‑based environment, and possess excellent communication skills that enhance the overall brand perception.
Responsibilities
- Process all cash, credit, and electronic transactions efficiently while adhering to the company’s point‑of‑sale (POS) procedures.
- Maintain an accurate cash drawer, perform regular reconciliations, and report any discrepancies immediately to management.
- Greet customers warmly, answer product‑related queries, and provide recommendations that encourage repeat business.
- Ensure that all sales receipts, invoices, and promotional vouchers are correctly issued and filed according to SOPs.
- Monitor inventory levels at the checkout counter, restock bags, receipts, and promotional materials, and notify the floor manager of low stock.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to keep the sales floor clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Handle customer complaints or returns with professionalism, escalating complex issues to the supervisor when necessary.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on new POS features, product knowledge, and customer service best practices.
Requirements
- Female candidates up to 35 years of age; all genders are welcome to apply for similar roles.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or an equivalent diploma.
- At least 0‑1 year of proven experience as a cashier in the food‑and‑beverage sector.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of personal responsibility.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; basic English is a plus.
- Familiarity with standard operating procedures (SOP) and the ability to follow them consistently.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends, with regular hours from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday through Saturday.
- Proficiency with common cashier systems and basic computer literacy.
