Introduction
We are looking for a motivated Intern Operasi Hukum (Legal Operations) to join our dynamic startup team in Surakarta. Responsibilities
The intern will support the Legal Operations team across a broad spectrum of tasks that are essential to maintaining the company’s legal integrity. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating all aspects of corporate legal compliance, from drafting partnership agreements (MoU) to updating privacy policies.
- Assisting in the preparation, review, and filing of operational permits and licenses required for business activities.
- Conducting legal research on emerging regulations affecting the tech and services sectors in Indonesia.
- Maintaining a centralized repository of contracts, policy documents, and compliance checklists.
- Supporting the development of internal legal training materials and conducting briefings for non‑legal staff.
- Monitoring deadlines for regulatory filings and alerting senior counsel to upcoming compliance obligations.
- Collaborating with product and engineering teams to embed privacy‑by‑design principles into new features.
- Preparing summary reports for management that highlight risk exposure and mitigation strategies.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Currently enrolled in the final semester (semester 6 or above) of a Bachelor’s program in Law (Hukum) or Public Administration (Ilmu Administrasi Publik), or a fresh graduate with a minimum S1 degree.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in legal assistance, compliance, or administrative support.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- High level of initiative, attention to detail, and ability to work independently while meeting tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in administrative procedures, policy analysis, and basic contract drafting.
- Comfortable working in a startup rhythm—flexible, adaptable, and eager to learn.
