Introduction
Maybank Indonesia is seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Support professional to join our dynamic team at the Balikpapan branch. This role is essential in ensuring seamless daily operations of all banking technology, supporting both routine tasks and strategic projects such as office renovations, system upgrades, and ATM infrastructure enhancements. The successful candidate will work closely with branch managers, network engineers, and third‑party vendors to deliver reliable, secure, and efficient IT services to our customers and staff.
Responsibilities
- Operational & Project Support: Assist in the planning and execution of renovation, relocation, and recabling projects across the branch, KPNO, and ATM/CDM locations. Provide on‑site troubleshooting for hardware and software incidents, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Hardware Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, pin‑pads, CCTV cameras, MEA devices, IP‑based printers/scanners, and call‑back recorders. Conduct routine backups of CCTV footage and digital recorders to safeguard data integrity.
- Software Management: Deploy and configure core banking applications, operating systems, and any specialized software approved by senior management. Ensure all software adheres to the bank’s security and compliance standards.
- Infrastructure & Facility Management: Monitor server room environmental controls (temperature, humidity, smoke/heat detectors) in line with SOPs. Perform preventive maintenance on UPS units, network switches, and other critical IT infrastructure.
- User Support & Training: Provide first‑line support to end‑users, responding to tickets promptly, and delivering short training sessions on new tools or security best practices.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of hardware inventory, software licenses, and incident logs. Generate weekly status reports for management review.
- Compliance & Safety: Keep up‑to‑date with health certificates, active police clearance (SKCK), and adhere to Maybank’s internal policies, including data protection and IT governance.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in IT support; fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply if they demonstrate strong technical aptitude.
- Proven experience with hardware installation, network configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with core banking software, IP‑based peripherals, and CCTV systems.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight service level agreements.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English; able to explain technical concepts to non‑technical staff.
- Ability to adapt quickly to emerging technologies and evolving banking regulations.
- Health certificate from a licensed doctor, a valid SKCK (police clearance), and an active Maybank Indonesia bank account.
- Willingness to comply with additional bank policies and participate in ongoing training programs.
