Introduction
We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver (Pengemudi Profesional) to join our logistics team and ensure timely, safe, and efficient delivery of goods to dealers across the region. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for high‑quality service in the automotive parts distribution industry. The ideal candidate will possess a solid driving record, strong knowledge of traffic regulations, and the ability to manage vehicle maintenance while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Deliver parcels, spare parts, and equipment to designated dealer locations according to the daily schedule.
- Inspect the vehicle before and after each trip, performing routine checks such as tire pressure, oil levels, and brakes to guarantee optimal performance.
- Report any mechanical issues or damages promptly to the fleet manager, ensuring the vehicle remains in prime condition.
- Secure cargo in the vehicle, using proper loading techniques to prevent damage during transit.
- Utilize navigation tools (Google Maps, Waze, or GPS) to select the most efficient routes, while adjusting for traffic conditions and road closures.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, including timestamps, signatures, and any special handling notes.
- Communicate professionally with dealers, answering inquiries and providing updates on delivery status.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to uphold a safe driving environment.
- Assist with light vehicle maintenance tasks such as cleaning, minor repairs, and refueling.
- Participate in periodic safety training and performance reviews to continuously improve driving skills.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; all study majors accepted.
- At least 2 years of proven experience operating a box truck or similar commercial vehicle.
- Valid Indonesian driving license: SIM A (for cars) or SIM B (for trucks).
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian traffic regulations and safe driving practices.
- Proficiency in reading digital maps and navigation apps such as Google Maps and Waze.
- Excellent time‑management and organizational skills.
- Good physical condition to handle loading/unloading tasks.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and strong customer‑service orientation.
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:30 – 16:30.
