Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and customer‑focused Retail Sales Cashier to join our growing store team. The successful candidate will be the frontline ambassador of our brand, ensuring smooth checkout operations, safeguarding merchandise, and delivering an exceptional shopping experience for every visitor. Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked checkout area at all times.
- Accurately process all sales transactions, ensuring that every item leaving the store is fully paid for.
- Verify the authenticity of cash, credit, and electronic payments, and reconcile the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Monitor the sales floor to prevent loss, report any suspicious activity, and secure merchandise from theft or damage.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, returns, exchanges, and special requests, always delivering courteous and helpful service.
- Utilize the “trimkasih” acknowledgment system (or similar) to confirm that customers have received their purchases and understand any warranties or promotions.
- Ensure aisles and display areas remain tidy, well‑lit, and fully stocked, promptly restocking shelves as needed.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to keep the store’s layout attractive and functional, helping to drive sales.
- Operate point‑of‑sale (POS) software efficiently, entering data quickly and troubleshooting minor technical issues.
- Demonstrate honesty, accountability, and a willingness to learn new processes and technologies.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA), Vocational School (SMK), or equivalent.
- Open to candidates of any gender.
- Basic computer literacy with the ability to operate POS systems and inventory software.
- Strong interpersonal skills; must be friendly, patient, and able to handle diverse customer interactions.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean, orderly work environment.
- Demonstrated honesty and responsibility; ability to handle cash and confidential information securely.
- Willingness to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional flexibility for special promotions or inventory counts.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 15 kg when necessary.
- Prior retail or cashier experience is a plus, but fresh graduates with a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply.
