Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated Cashier & Teller to join our vibrant banking team in the beautiful resort area of Nusa Dua, Bali. This front‑line role is essential for delivering fast, accurate, and friendly financial services to our diverse client base, ranging from local residents to international tourists. As a teller, you will be the face of the bank, handling cash transactions, providing product information, and ensuring compliance with strict security and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Transaction Services
    • Process cash deposits, withdrawals, fund transfers, and bill payments efficiently.
    • Exchange currency and provide requested denominations accurately.
    • Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor, ensuring a pleasant customer experience.
  • Cash Management
    • Receive, count, and verify cash received from customers.
    • Monitor teller cash limits and ensure balances stay within authorized thresholds.
    • Record all transactions in the bank’s core banking system or manual cash ledger.
    • Perform end‑of‑day cash reconciliation, matching physical cash to system reports.
  • Security and Accuracy
    • Authenticate currency, signatures, and supporting documents.
    • Identify and prevent data entry errors, fraud, and suspicious activities.
    • Safeguard customer confidentiality and protect sensitive financial information.
  • Administrative & Reporting Duties
    • Prepare daily cash flow reports and submit them to the branch manager.
    • File and archive transaction slips, receipts, and related documentation securely.
    • Report any cash discrepancies or operational issues promptly.
  • Customer Service & Communication
    • Inform clients about basic banking products and services.
    • Build lasting relationships through a strong customer‑service mindset.
    • Guide customers through transaction procedures and answer their inquiries.
  • Compliance & Operational Procedures
    • Adhere strictly to the bank’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for tellers.
    • Follow internal security policies, audit requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
    • Participate in regular training sessions, briefings, and compliance workshops.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate or Bachelor’s degree) in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Age: Up to 30 years old.
  • Gender: Open to all genders.
  • Work experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience in a teller or cash handling role.
  • Technical skills: Familiarity with 3D Max (useful for visualizing branch layouts) and a valid motor vehicle license for occasional client outreach.
  • Core competencies: Strong numeracy, attention to detail, integrity, and excellent interpersonal communication.
  • Language proficiency: Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and conversational English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Availability: Able to work Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑16:00.
