Introduction
We are seeking a highly motivated Spesialis Pajak dan Kepatuhan Perpajakan to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our organization complies with the complex landscape of Indonesian tax regulations, including corporate income tax (PPh), value‑added tax (PPN), and electronic filing requirements such as e‑Faktur, e‑Bupot, and e‑SPT. Responsibilities
- Prepare, calculate, and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns for PPh and PPN in strict accordance with deadlines.
- Manage the electronic tax filing process using Coretax, DJP Online, and other e‑tax platforms, ensuring all documentation is correctly uploaded and archived.
- Conduct detailed tax reconciliations, verify the correctness of tax provisions, and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with the accounting team.
- Supervise and mentor the Tax Staff, delegating tasks, reviewing their work, and providing guidance on complex tax issues.
- Monitor changes in Indonesian tax legislation, assess the impact on the company, and advise senior management on necessary adjustments.
- Maintain accurate records of tax payments, receipts, and supporting documents while safeguarding the confidentiality of all financial information.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants during audits and tax investigations, supplying required data and explanations.
- Develop and implement internal controls and standard operating procedures to improve tax compliance efficiency.
- Participate in cross‑functional projects, providing tax insights for new business initiatives, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
- Prepare periodic tax compliance reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and potential areas of risk.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in tax compliance, preferably within a medium‑to‑large Indonesian corporation.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, including PPh, PPN, e‑Faktur, e‑Bupot, and e‑SPT.
- Proficiency with tax software (Coretax, DJP Online) and common accounting packages.
- Professional tax certifications such as Brevet A & B are highly desirable and considered a strong asset.
- Excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a methodical approach to problem‑solving.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capacity to explain complex tax concepts in clear language.
- High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial data.
