Introduction
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our growing network of Mitra Drivers for SPX in the Surabaya area. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods and passengers across the city. This position is ideal for self‑motivated drivers who own a suitable vehicle, possess a valid driver’s license, and are comfortable using modern mobile technology to navigate and communicate efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Provide door‑to‑door transportation services using a personal four‑wheel, enclosed vehicle (non‑pick‑up).
- Plan and execute daily routes using Google Maps and other navigation tools to optimize travel time and fuel consumption.
- Maintain a clean and well‑serviced vehicle, performing routine checks on oil, tires, brakes, and overall condition before each shift.
- Ensure all passengers and cargo are handled with care, adhering to safety standards and company policies.
- Collect and verify payment details, providing receipts and recording transactions in the designated system.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle issues promptly to the operations team.
- Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel usage, and work hours for payroll and compliance purposes.
- Offer courteous customer service, addressing client inquiries and resolving minor issues on the spot.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on road safety, customer service excellence, and technology updates.
- Collaborate with dispatchers and fellow drivers to ensure smooth hand‑offs and coverage during peak hours.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- Age: No upper limit; candidates of all ages are welcome.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Ownership of a personal four‑door, enclosed automobile (pick‑up vehicles are not accepted).
- Active SIM A driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Personal bank account for salary and expense reimbursements.
- Android smartphone equipped with at least 4 GB RAM, capable of running navigation and communication apps.
- Basic proficiency in using Google Maps and other location‑based services.
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and a customer‑first attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, with a typical schedule of Monday‑Sunday, 08:00‑17:00.
