We are currently seeking a skilled Operator CNC Wirecut – Precision Manufacturing to join our dynamic team and contribute to the continued success of our high‑volume, high‑quality operations.
Responsibilities
- Set up, calibrate, and operate EDM wire‑cut machines according to detailed work orders and engineering drawings.
- Interpret and verify technical drawings, CNC programs, and tolerances to ensure accurate part production.
- Perform routine maintenance on machine tools, including spindle inspection, wire tension adjustments, and dielectric fluid checks.
- Monitor machining cycles, detect anomalies, and make real‑time adjustments to maintain optimal cut quality and surface finish.
- Document production data, record tool wear, and generate daily shift reports for the production supervisor.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to conduct in‑process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and coordinate‑measuring machines (CMM).
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, suggest tooling enhancements, and participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives such as Lean and Six Sigma projects.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety‑compliant work environment in accordance with ISO 9001 and OSHA standards.
- Assist in training junior operators and share best practices for precision machining and machine upkeep.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Diploma (SMK) in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die Making, or a related technical field; Bachelor’s degree (S1) is a plus.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience operating EDM wire‑cut equipment in a production setting.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and CNC programs.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proven track record of producing parts within tight tolerances (±0.01 mm or better).
- Proficiency in basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting of control system errors.
- Good communication skills, teamwork orientation, and a proactive attitude toward problem solving.
- Age limit: maximum 30 years; gender: open to qualified candidates, with a preference for female applicants as per company policy.
- Willingness to work a six‑day week (Monday‑Saturday) from 08:00 – 17:00.
