We are seeking motivated and community‑focused individuals to join our team as Partner Area Representatives. In this role, you will act as a vital link between Amartha’s financial empowerment programs and local households, helping to identify new borrowers, provide ongoing economic support, and ensure the sustainability of our micro‑loan portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential new borrowers by conducting door‑to‑door outreach, community events, and referral networking to grow Amartha’s customer base.
- Provide continuous economic mentorship to existing members, offering guidance on budgeting, income diversification, and business development.
- Conduct thorough field surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, adhering strictly to Amartha’s credit policies, risk assessment frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare detailed recommendation reports for the credit committee, highlighting borrower strengths, repayment capacity, and any mitigating risks.
- Facilitate weekly member meetings, monitoring repayment schedules, documenting transaction details, and resolving any service‑related issues.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in the company’s CRM system, ensuring data integrity for reporting and audit purposes.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams—including product, risk, and operations—to continuously improve service delivery and borrower experience.
- Travel extensively across assigned territories, utilizing a personal two‑wheel vehicle to reach remote villages and ensure consistent field presence.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; candidates with a Bachelor’s degree are highly preferred.
- Age: 28 years maximum (some flexibility up to 35 years for exceptional candidates).
- All genders are welcome to apply.
- Possession of a reliable two‑wheel vehicle (motorcycle) for field work.
- Willingness to work on‑site in the field, often in challenging or remote locations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust with borrowers, colleagues, and supervisors.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; relevant experience in micro‑finance, sales, community development, or customer service is a plus.
- Readiness to be deployed to any Amartha branch across the region as business needs dictate.
