We are a bustling family‑run restaurant located in the heart of Purwodadi, Grobogan, renowned for its warm hospitality and authentic Indonesian cuisine. To maintain our high standards of service, we are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Pelayan Wanita (female waitstaff) who can bring a friendly smile and professional attitude to every table. This full‑time position offers a stable schedule from Monday to Saturday, with working hours of 08:00–17:00, allowing you to develop a rewarding career in the hospitality industry while contributing to an engaging dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and escort them to their tables, ensuring a welcoming first impression.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about ingredients, allergens, and preparation methods.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using handheld devices or traditional order pads.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of dishes, and verify order completeness before serving.
- Serve meals and drinks courteously, checking periodically for guest satisfaction and addressing any concerns immediately.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including resetting tables, polishing silverware, and ensuring napkin presentation meets company standards.
- Handle cash transactions, process credit card payments, and generate accurate receipts.
- Assist in inventory checks for tableware, condiments, and linens, reporting shortages to the manager.
- Participate in regular team briefings and training sessions to stay updated on new menu items and service protocols.
- Uphold health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation, and emergency procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Gender: Female (Pelayan Wanita).
- Age: Up to 30 years old.
- Honesty, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure during peak service periods.
- Positive attitude, humility, and a cheerful demeanor that creates “positive vibes” for guests and teammates.
- Basic proficiency in food and beverage service techniques, including table setting and order taking.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; knowledge of English is a plus.
- Willingness to work in Purwodadi/Grobogan location on a permanent basis.
- Prior experience in restaurant service is advantageous but not mandatory.
