We are seeking a dedicated Penata Perawatan Kebersihan dan Kesehatan Anjing to join our growing animal‑care team. This role focuses on maintaining the cleanliness, grooming, and basic health of our canine residents while providing owners with clear, friendly advice on everyday pet care. Responsibilities
- Bathe and thoroughly clean each dog, ensuring fur, skin, and paws are free from dirt and parasites.
- Trim, style, and arrange fur according to breed standards or owner preferences, using basic grooming tools.
- Perform basic health checks: clean ears, trim nails, and examine skin for signs of fungal infections, fleas, or irritations.
- Handle dogs safely and calmly, employing proper restraint techniques to minimize stress for both the animal and staff.
- Provide owners with practical grooming and health‑maintenance tips, including feeding recommendations and hygiene routines.
- Document and report any health concerns, injuries, or abnormal behaviors to the senior veterinary staff promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels, feeding areas, and grooming stations; sweep, mop, and disinfect surfaces daily.
- Assist with feeding schedules, ensuring each dog receives appropriate portions of high‑quality nutrition.
- Participate in routine screenings and early‑detection checks to flag potential health issues before they become serious.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow, especially during peak grooming times.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Female candidates only, in line with client preferences for this role.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in dog grooming, pet care, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic health assessments such as ear cleaning, nail trimming, and skin inspection.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a gentle, patient demeanor when handling animals.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions, maintain accurate records, and report observations clearly.
- Willingness to work the standard shift of 08:00 – 17:00, with flexibility for occasional overtime during special events.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift moderate loads, and handle active dogs safely.
- Basic literacy in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
