Responsibilities
- Handle all cash, card, and digital payments accurately using the store’s POS system.
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate pet food, accessories, and health products while offering knowledgeable recommendations.
- Maintain a tidy checkout area, ensuring that counters, shelves, and display units are clean and organized at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels at the register, alerting the store manager to low stock items and assisting with restocking as needed.
- Engage with customers on social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Shopee) by responding to inquiries, posting promotional content, and showcasing new arrivals.
- Provide basic guidance on pet care, directing customers to in‑store specialists for more detailed advice.
- Perform end‑of‑day cash reconciliation, prepare deposit slips, and report any discrepancies promptly.
- Support occasional promotional events, product launches, and seasonal sales campaigns.
- Uphold store safety standards, including proper handling of live animals and adherence to hygiene protocols.
Requirements
- Female (unmarried) candidates only.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: up to 25 years old.
- Honest, disciplined, and friendly demeanor with a strong focus on cleanliness.
- Proficient in using social media tools such as Instagram, TikTok, and Shopee for customer engagement.
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Comfortable around a variety of animals; not afraid of pets.
- Willingness to work rolling shifts, Monday through Saturday, 08:00–17:00.
- Basic understanding of cashier systems and ability to learn new POS software quickly.
- No prior experience required, though previous retail or customer service exposure is a plus.
