Introduction
The Petugas Keamanan (Satpam) – Penjaga Keamanan Lingkungan is a vital role responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, businesses, and visitors within a designated area. This position requires a disciplined, alert, and proactive individual who can respond quickly to any security concerns, enforce site policies, and provide a reassuring presence that deters potential threats. Candidates will work a full‑time schedule from Monday to Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, and will be the primary point of contact for any safety‑related incidents.
Responsibilities
- Monitor entry and exit points to verify the identity of visitors and ensure only authorized personnel gain access.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises, both on foot and using a security vehicle, to detect and address hazards, trespassing, or suspicious activities.
- Operate and maintain surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access‑control panels.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, including fire alarms, medical incidents, or security breaches, and coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services.
- Prepare detailed incident reports, log daily activities, and maintain accurate records of all security‑related events.
- Enforce site rules, traffic flow, and parking regulations while providing courteous assistance to tenants and guests.
- Conduct periodic safety inspections, identify potential risks, and recommend corrective actions to management.
- Participate in regular training sessions, drills, and briefings to stay current with industry best practices and legal requirements.
Requirements

- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Certification: Gada Pratama security certificate is preferred.
