Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and proactive Petugas Penagihan Lapangan (Field Collections Officer) to join our dynamic collections team. This role is pivotal in safeguarding the financial health of our organization by engaging directly with delinquent borrowers, validating outstanding obligations, and securing timely repayments. The successful candidate will operate across a broad geographic area, representing the company with professionalism and empathy while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Visit debtors in person to deliver Surat Peringatan (Warning Letters) during the arrears period, ensuring accurate validation of each case.
- Conduct thorough analysis of the debtor’s financial situation to determine the most appropriate collection strategy.
- Negotiate payment options that align with the debtor’s capacity while protecting the company’s interests.
- Monitor agreed‑upon repayment schedules, follow up on missed payments, and re‑initiate collection efforts as needed.
- Track down borrowers who cannot be reached at their listed residence or workplace, employing verified locating techniques.
- Confirm and update all customer data, including phone numbers, mailing addresses, and contact preferences, to maintain a reliable database.
- Prepare detailed reports of each visit and outcome, discussing findings with supervisors to refine collection tactics.
- Enter all collection activities into the dedicated collection management system, ensuring data integrity and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with the legal and risk departments when cases require escalation to formal recovery procedures.
- Adhere to the official working schedule of Monday through Saturday, 08:00–16:00, while remaining flexible for urgent field assignments.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Must be 35 years old or younger at the time of application.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Experience: No prior collection experience required; strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Key Skills: Excellent communication, persuasive negotiation, problem‑solving, and basic data entry abilities.
