Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers warmly, understand their needs, and provide product recommendations that drive sales.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the store’s merchandise, promotions, and pricing to answer queries confidently.
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system accurately, handle cash, credit card transactions, and issue receipts.
- Manage inventory by receiving shipments, conducting stock counts, and ensuring shelves are replenished promptly.
- Create eye‑catching visual displays and arrange merchandise according to planograms to maximize product visibility.
- Address customer complaints or concerns with professionalism, escalating issues when necessary to maintain satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily and weekly sales targets, sharing best practices and supporting peers.
- Ensure the store environment remains clean, organized, and safe, adhering to company standards for hygiene and presentation.
- Participate in regular training sessions on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service excellence.
- Report sales figures, stock discrepancies, and any operational issues to the store manager in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Gender: Female (per company policy for this position).
- Age: 18–30 years.
- Marital Status: Unmarried.
- Experience: At least 1 year of proven experience in retail sales or a related customer‑facing role.
- Availability: Not currently enrolled in any academic program; able to work full‑time Monday‑Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
- Core Skills: Strong public speaking abilities, effective communication, and the confidence to present products persuasively.
- Personal Attributes: Honest, tidy, reliable, and able to maintain a professional appearance.
- Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work well within a team, share responsibilities, and support collective goals.
- Technical: Familiarity with basic store management systems and POS software.
