Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and courteously, presenting menus and explaining daily specials with confidence.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, relay them efficiently to the kitchen and bar, and ensure timely delivery to the table.
- Provide expert recommendations on menu items, wine pairings, and promotional offers, leveraging deep product knowledge to increase sales.
- Monitor table progress, anticipate guest needs, and respond swiftly to any requests or issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting and resetting tables according to established standards.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow waitstaff to coordinate service flow and uphold quality control.
- Handle payment transactions accurately, process cash and electronic payments, and issue receipts.
- Train and mentor junior waitstaff, sharing best practices in service etiquette, upselling techniques, and conflict resolution.
- Participate in periodic inventory checks of tableware, linens, and service supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, ensuring a safe environment for both guests and team members.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Gender: Female (preferred) – all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Residence: Must reside in Boyolali city or surrounding areas.
- No strict age limit; candidates of any age with the right attitude are welcome.
- Prior experience in a kitchen or customer‑service role is highly valued, especially in hospitality settings.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities, including patience, active listening, and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work flexible hours, including weekends (Monday‑Saturday) from 08:00 to 17:00.
