Introduction

We are seeking an energetic Promotor Penjualan to join our fast‑growing sales team in Depok. In this role you will act as the brand’s front‑line ambassador, ensuring our promotional materials are expertly displayed and that our product range remains visible and readily available to consumers across multiple retail outlets. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic FMCG environment, possess strong interpersonal skills, and demonstrate a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Install, arrange, and maintain POP (point‑of‑purchase) promotional material at designated outlets, ensuring brand guidelines are strictly followed.
  • Engage with customers, present product benefits, and close sales to achieve weekly and monthly sales quotas.
  • Conduct regular outlet visits to monitor stock levels, verify product placement, and identify opportunities for upselling.
  • Report daily activity, sales figures, and market insights to the regional sales manager using company communication tools.
  • Collaborate with merchandisers and store managers to coordinate product launches, in‑store events, and special promotions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized display area, promptly removing outdated or damaged promotional items.
  • Track competitor activity and provide feedback on pricing, promotions, and shelf‑space allocation.
  • Ensure all products are correctly labeled, priced, and compliant with local regulations.
  • Utilize a personal vehicle and a valid SIM C to travel efficiently between multiple outlet locations.
  • Participate in weekly team briefings and training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and sales techniques.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a promoter or merchandiser within the FMCG sector; experience in the tobacco industry is a strong advantage.
  • Male candidates only, as specified by the client’s operational policy.
  • Active SIM C driver’s license and reliable motor vehicle for travel to and from outlets.
  • Demonstrated ability to set up product displays and install POP materials with precision.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with store staff and customers.
  • Basic analytical abilities to interpret sales data and adjust tactics accordingly.
  • Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional overtime during promotional peaks.
  • Willingness to be stationed in the Depok area and travel within the assigned territory.
  • High level of self‑motivation, reliability, and a proactive attitude toward achieving sales goals.
