Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Purchasing Officer – Pengelolaan Pembelian Vendor to join our dynamic supply chain team. This role is central to ensuring a reliable flow of raw materials and services, supporting production schedules, and maintaining strong relationships with our diverse vendor base. The successful candidate will operate in a fast‑paced environment, balancing strategic sourcing with day‑to‑day procurement activities while upholding our company’s commitment to quality, cost‑effectiveness, and ethical sourcing.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement plans for raw materials, components, and services needed across all business units.
- Identify, evaluate, and qualify new vendors, conducting due‑diligence checks for financial stability, compliance, and quality standards.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, delivery terms, and service level agreements to achieve optimal cost savings while maintaining product quality.
- Manage purchase orders from creation through receipt, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow‑up on any discrepancies.
- Coordinate closely with production, logistics, and finance teams to align inventory levels with demand forecasts and cash‑flow targets.
- Monitor vendor performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on‑time delivery, defect rates, and responsiveness, and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
- Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, cost trends, and market intelligence for senior management review.
- Maintain compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and sustainability guidelines throughout the sourcing process.
- Handle urgent or high‑priority purchasing requests, working effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Foster a collaborative environment, sharing knowledge with team members and supporting cross‑functional initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; higher education in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field is a plus.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in purchasing, vendor management, or a related procurement role.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia (both written and verbal) and the ability to interact professionally with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Demonstrated honesty, accountability, and a high degree of integrity in handling confidential and financial information.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, adapting quickly to changing priorities.
- Proven capability to perform under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with procurement software, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and basic data analysis tools.

- Work schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
