Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and plate a variety of dishes according to standardized recipes and quality guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment, ensuring that all kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment are kept in pristine condition.
- Operate and monitor kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and food processors safely and efficiently.
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving deliveries, checking stock levels, and reporting any shortages to the supervisor.
- Collaborate closely with fellow kitchen staff to coordinate meal service during peak hours, ensuring timely delivery of orders.
- Adhere to food safety regulations (HACCP, local health codes) and company policies to prevent contamination and waste.
- Participate in daily briefings, providing feedback on workflow improvements and suggesting menu enhancements.
- Support the head chef in menu planning, portion control, and cost‑saving initiatives.
- Handle post‑service cleanup, including proper disposal of waste, washing of cookware, and sanitizing workstations.
- Maintain a “dry hands” policy to guarantee food safety and reduce the risk of cross‑contamination.
Requirements

- Age: Maximum 35 years old.
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Experience: Prior experience in kitchen or cafeteria settings is preferred but not mandatory; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate loads (up to 15 kg).
- Hands must remain dry during food handling to comply with hygiene standards.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team, communicate clearly, and follow instructions.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and routine maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude toward problem‑solving.
