This role is crucial for ensuring that our customers receive their orders on time, safely, and in perfect condition. The successful candidate will operate both pick‑up trucks and larger Traga vehicles, navigating the bustling streets of Jabodetabek while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and discipline.
Responsibilities
- Operate pick‑up trucks and Traga vans to transport goods from our distribution centers to designated customer locations across the Jabodetabek region.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes using GPS and personal knowledge of local traffic patterns, minimizing delivery time and fuel consumption.
- Conduct pre‑trip inspections of the vehicle, checking oil, tires, brakes, and safety equipment to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load and unload merchandise carefully, securing cargo to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, sign‑off sheets, and electronic records via an Android smartphone or tablet.
- Communicate proactively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers regarding delivery schedules, delays, or special instructions.
- Adhere strictly to company policies, traffic laws, and safety regulations, promoting a culture of zero‑accident operations.
- Assist in basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as refueling, cleaning, and reporting mechanical issues to the fleet manager.
- Collaborate with fellow drivers and support staff to ensure smooth daily operations and timely problem resolution.
- Participate in regular training sessions on defensive driving, customer service, and new logistics technologies.
Requirements
- Male candidates, aged between 25 and 40 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Valid Indonesian driving licenses SIM A and/or SIM B.
- At least 2 years of proven experience driving pick‑up trucks or Traga vehicles in a commercial setting.
- Excellent knowledge of the Jabodetabek road network, including major highways and secondary streets.
- Ownership of an Android smartphone for navigation, communication, and electronic paperwork.
- High level of personal discipline, punctuality, and reliability.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Willingness to work night shifts, Monday through Saturday, from 22:00 to 06:00.
