Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Professional Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary health services team. This full‑time role is based in our modern clinic and focuses on delivering high‑quality occupational therapy services to children and adults across a wide range of functional domains. The successful candidate will work closely with physicians, physiotherapists, speech therapists, and social workers to promote optimal independence and quality of life for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments covering sensory integration, fine and gross motor skills, conceptual understanding, cognition, perception, and activities of daily living (ADL).
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans that target identified deficits and leverage client strengths.
- Perform therapeutic interventions using evidence‑based techniques such as sensory‑motor activities, adaptive equipment training, and functional task analysis.
- Monitor client progress through systematic observation, standardized outcome measures, and regular documentation.
- Provide ongoing evaluation and modify treatment plans based on client response and emerging needs.
- Maintain, clean, and calibrate occupational therapy equipment in accordance with clinic standards and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (schools, rehabilitation centers, families) to ensure seamless continuity of care.
- Educate clients, caregivers, and community members on home‑based strategies, environmental adaptations, and preventative health practices.
- Participate in case conferences, multidisciplinary rounds, and professional development workshops.
- Uphold ethical standards and maintain an active Occupational Therapy Registration (STR) as required by law.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Academic performance: GPA of at least 2.75.
- Gender: Female (as specified by the client demographic needs).
- Age: Maximum 30 years; fresh graduates are welcome, though candidates with at least 1 year of clinical experience are preferred.
- Active professional registration (STR) and a valid work permit.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Sensory Integration, Pediatric OT) are a plus.
- Key soft skills: strong adaptability, empathetic counseling, deep understanding of child development stages, proficiency in designing child‑centered learning activities, and the ability to assess and meet each child’s learning needs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to foster harmonious relationships both internally and externally.
- Availability to work Monday‑Saturday, 10:00 – 20:00.
