Introduction
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our boarding school community as Tim Pembina Santri, Musyrif, Musyrifah, and Wali Kamar. This role is integral to the spiritual, academic, and personal development of our santri (students) within a traditional pesantren environment. Responsibilities
- Provide daily guidance and mentorship to santri, ensuring their spiritual growth through Qur’an recitation (tajwid and qira’at) and regular religious study.
- Design and deliver structured Tahfiz (Qur’an memorization) programs, monitoring progress and offering corrective feedback.
- Oversee the operation of the dormitory (asrama), including room assignments, cleanliness standards, and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular counseling sessions, addressing academic, emotional, and social challenges faced by students.
- Collaborate with other teachers and administrative staff to integrate the pesantren’s curriculum with modern educational practices.
- Organize and supervise extracurricular activities, such as community service projects, religious retreats, and cultural events.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and disciplinary actions, reporting to the Head of School as needed.
- Implement and enforce a code of conduct that reflects the pesantren’s values of integrity, humility, and respect.
- Participate in professional development workshops, staying current with pedagogical methods and religious scholarship.
- Serve as a role model, exemplifying piety, discipline, and a lifelong commitment to learning.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a strong preference for candidates with additional religious studies.
- At least 1 year of experience teaching or mentoring in a Tahfiz or pesantren setting.
- Age not exceeding 35 years.
- Proficient in tajwid and qira’at, with a minimum memorization of 3 Juz of the Qur’an.
- Solid foundation in Islamic knowledge and ability to convey concepts clearly.
- Demonstrated moral character (akhlak karimah), empathy, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to motivate, inspire, and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Experience in dormitory management, including supervision, conflict resolution, and logistical planning.
- Physical and mental health that enables sustained engagement with demanding work hours.
- Leadership qualities such as firmness, wisdom, and the capacity to make fair decisions.
- Willingness to serve according to the traditional pesantren education model, with flexibility for weekend work (Monday–Sunday, 15:00–08:00).
- Passion for education, a commitment to lifelong learning, and a desire to set the best example for santri.
