Introduction

We are seeking enthusiastic and service‑focused individuals to join our restaurant team as Waiters – Pelayanan Makanan dan Minuman. This front‑of‑house position is vital for delivering an exceptional dining experience, ensuring each guest feels welcomed, attended to, and satisfied from the moment they sit down until they leave. Candidates will work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment where teamwork, communication, and a proactive attitude are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and present menus with a professional demeanor.
  • Explain daily specials, answer questions about menu items, and recommend beverages that complement the cuisine.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders, input them into the POS system, and communicate any special dietary requirements to the kitchen staff.
  • Serve dishes and beverages promptly, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.
  • Monitor table status continuously, refill drinks, clear plates, and anticipate guests’ needs without being intrusive.
  • Handle payment transactions, process credit cards, and issue receipts while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for the next guests.
  • Collaborate closely with kitchen, bar, and fellow service staff to coordinate seamless service flow.
  • Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and restaurant policies, including proper handling of allergens.
  • Participate in pre‑shift briefings, provide feedback on service challenges, and suggest improvements to enhance overall guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Age: Maximum 30 years.
  • Gender: Female (per company policy).
  • Experience: No prior experience required; fresh graduates with a passion for hospitality are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language abilities are a plus.
  • Strong teamwork orientation and the ability to cooperate effectively with colleagues across all shifts.
  • Active, creative, and quick‑thinking mindset; able to handle multiple tables and unexpected situations with poise.
  • Demonstrated skill in food and beverage service, including knowledge of basic table settings and serving etiquette.
  • Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, with occasional overtime during peak periods.
