Responsibilities
- Process all customer purchases accurately using the store’s point‑of‑sale (POS) system, handling cash, credit, and digital payments.
- Verify prices, apply discounts, and ensure that promotional offers are correctly reflected on receipts.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including regular stocking of receipt paper, bags, and promotional materials.
- Provide friendly, prompt assistance to customers, answering questions about products, returns, and store policies.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company procedures, ensuring customer satisfaction while protecting store assets.
- Reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift, reporting any discrepancies to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Collaborate with floor staff to manage peak‑hour traffic, minimizing wait times and optimizing the flow of customers.
- Participate in regular training sessions on new POS features, product knowledge, and customer service best practices.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment when needed, especially during off‑peak hours.
- Uphold the store’s visual standards by maintaining an attractive personal appearance and adhering to the dress code.
Requirements
- Gender: Female (as specified by the branch’s operational policy).
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 25 years old.
- Marital Status: Unmarried (as per current hiring criteria).
- Personal qualities: Honesty, strong work ethic, high energy, and a pleasant demeanor.
- Appearance: Well‑groomed and presentable, reflecting the brand’s professional image.
- Team Orientation: Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues and support a positive team environment.
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency with cashier systems and familiarity with handling cash transactions.
- Communication: Clear verbal communication in Bahasa Indonesia; courteous tone when interacting with customers.
