Responsibilities

  • Greet guests promptly, present menus, and answer questions about dishes, specials, and beverage selections.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders using handheld POS systems, ensuring special dietary requests are noted.
  • Serve meals and beverages efficiently, checking in frequently to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting and resetting tables, polishing silverware, and monitoring table turnover.
  • Collaborate closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to coordinate timely delivery of orders.
  • Handle cash transactions, process credit card payments, and prepare accurate end‑of‑day reports.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards, including proper food handling and personal hygiene practices.
  • Assist in inventory checks for tableware and linens, reporting shortages or damages to management.
  • Participate in regular staff briefings, training sessions, and team-building activities to continuously improve service quality.
  • Remain calm and effective under high‑volume periods, managing multiple tables while maintaining a friendly demeanor.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and, preferably, basic English.
  • Honest, reliable, and accountable with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
  • Comfortable handling pressure during busy service periods.
  • Open to working Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
