Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and detail‑oriented Staff Accountant and Financial Reporting to join our finance team. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate daily transaction recording, timely preparation of financial statements, and seamless coordination with internal and external auditors. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in accounting principles, strong analytical abilities, and a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions using the general journal, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Organize, verify, and file financial documents such as invoices, receipts, and transfer proofs.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations to confirm that ledger balances match bank statements.
- Manage the company’s accounts payable and accounts receivable, monitoring due dates and following up on outstanding items.
- Assist the senior accounting team during month‑end and year‑end closing procedures, posting adjustments and ensuring all entries are posted correctly.
- Compile and provide necessary data and documentation for internal and external audit processes.
- Ensure that all accounting entries comply with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.
- Support the preparation of budget forecasts and variance analyses as needed.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—such as procurement, sales, and HR—to resolve accounting discrepancies and improve financial workflows.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Diploma (D3) or Associate’s degree (D4) in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Age: Up to 30 years old.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- No prior professional experience required; fresh graduates with strong academic performance are welcome.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Basic understanding of cost accounting, corporate finance, and regulatory reporting.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling financial data.
