Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential new borrowers, presenting Amartha’s capital‑loan programs and encouraging participation.
- Provide on‑site economic guidance and mentorship to existing client households, helping them manage cash flow, budgeting, and business planning.
- Conduct thorough field surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring compliance with Amartha’s underwriting policies, risk criteria, and documentation standards.
- Coordinate and execute collection activities, following up with borrowers on repayment schedules while maintaining a respectful and professional relationship.
- Maintain accurate field reports, update the CRM system with client interactions, and flag any emerging risks or opportunities for senior management.
- Collaborate with the regional operations team to align field activities with broader strategic goals and community outreach initiatives.
- Attend regular training sessions and workshops to stay current on digital analysis tools, financial literacy techniques, and regulatory updates.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent (high school diploma). Higher education is a plus.
- Age range: 18–30 years (maximum 33 years per company policy).
- All genders are welcome; female candidates are especially encouraged.
- Own a reliable motorbike or car to travel throughout the assigned territory.
- Strong personal integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and disciplined work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build trust with rural households.
- Resilience and adaptability to work in field conditions daily, often in remote villages.
- Prior experience in micro‑finance, sales, community development, or related fields is advantageous but not required.
- Basic digital literacy – comfortable using smartphones, mobile applications, and simple data‑analysis tools.
