Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of home appliances, including air conditioners, refrigerators, televisions, washing machines, and audio‑visual equipment.
- Perform on‑site installations, preventive maintenance, and routine safety checks to ensure optimal performance and compliance with manufacturer standards.
- Maintain accurate service logs, complete work orders, and update the company’s service management system after each visit.
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain issues, recommend solutions, and provide cost estimates before commencing repairs.
- Transport tools, spare parts, and equipment using a personal motorcycle (SIM C required) to service locations throughout Tangerang City, Tangerang Regency, and nearby areas.
- Apply basic welding techniques when necessary to repair metal components of appliances.
- Collaborate with fellow technicians and the dispatch team to prioritize jobs, share knowledge, and uphold high service standards.
- Stay up‑to‑date with the latest appliance technologies, brand-specific service manuals, and industry best practices through ongoing training.
- Adhere to safety protocols, wear appropriate personal protective equipment, and ensure a clean working environment at each customer site.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 40 years or younger.
- Residence in Tangerang (city or regency) is required.
- At least 2 years of hands‑on experience as a household appliance technician.
- Proven skill set in servicing electronics such as AC units, refrigerators, TVs, washing machines, and audio‑visual systems.
- Strong understanding of basic electronics theory and practical circuit diagnostics.
- Competence in basic welding for component repairs.
- Excellent communication abilities, honesty, responsibility, and a collaborative team spirit.
- Own motorbike and a valid SIM C license for mobile service calls.
- Willingness to work a Monday‑Saturday schedule, 08:30‑16:30, with occasional overtime for urgent calls.
