Introduction
We are seeking a proactive Petugas Penagihan Lapangan to join our team in the Bantul region. This field collector will be the primary point of contact with our customers for debt recovery, payment collection, and relationship management. The role is essential for maintaining cash flow and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction while operating in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
The successful candidate will work Monday through Friday, from 08:00 to 17:00, traveling throughout the designated area on a two‑wheel vehicle. This position offers the opportunity to develop strong negotiation skills, deepen knowledge of local markets, and contribute directly to the financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site visits to customers to discuss outstanding balances and arrange payment schedules.
- Collect payments in cash, electronic transfer, or other approved methods, ensuring accurate receipt documentation.
- Prepare and submit daily and weekly visitation reports, highlighting payment status, customer feedback, and any collection challenges.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date mapping of the assigned territory, including new customer locations and changes in contact information.
- Negotiate settlement terms, discounts, or payment plans in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identify potential fraud or delinquency patterns and communicate findings to the supervisory team.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving disputes, and fostering goodwill to encourage future timely payments.
- Collaborate with the finance and credit departments to ensure records are synchronized and any discrepancies are promptly resolved.
- Participate in regular training sessions on collection techniques, legal compliance, and soft‑skill development.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in collection or related field; 2 years preferred.
- Own a valid motorbike and a current SIM C license.
- Thorough familiarity with the Bantul area, including major routes and neighborhoods.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities, with a proven track record of achieving collection targets.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple customer accounts.
