Introduction
PT. Prima Logistics Indonesia is a leading third‑party logistics provider serving manufacturers and retailers across Java. Our state‑of‑the‑art distribution hub in Cibitung, Kabupaten Bekasi, handles high‑volume inbound and outbound flows for consumer goods, especially beverages and fast‑moving consumer products (FMCG). We are expanding our warehouse team and are looking for a reliable, detail‑oriented Staff Operasional Gudang to join us on a full‑time basis.
This role is pivotal to ensuring that goods move efficiently through the supply chain, from receipt at the dock to delivery at the customer’s door. The successful candidate will work in a fast‑paced environment, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and uphold the highest standards of safety and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Inbound Administration
- Verify Purchase Orders (PO) received from suppliers against packing lists and system records.
- Record incoming shipments in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and flag any discrepancies.
- Coordinate with the receiving team to ensure timely unloading and proper documentation.
- Inbound Handling (Helper)
- Place and organize pallets, cartons, and cases in designated storage locations following FIFO or FEFO principles.
- Inspect product expiration dates, batch numbers, and condition of goods; isolate any expired or damaged items.
- Maintain a clean, orderly dock area and adhere to safety protocols (PPE, forklift operation guidelines).
- Outbound Operations
- Picker: Retrieve items accurately according to Sales Orders (SO) and prepare them for staging.
- Packer: Package goods securely, apply correct labeling, and perform a final quality check to confirm that items match the SO and the intended delivery route.
- Collaborate with the logistics coordinator to prioritize shipments based on delivery schedules.
- Inventory Management
- Ensure that every SKU is stored in its correct location and that location data is up‑to‑date in the WMS.
- Conduct regular stock counts, reconcile physical inventory with system records, and initiate cycle counts on a rotating schedule.
- Report variances promptly and support root‑cause analysis to prevent recurring discrepancies.
- Shift & Weekend Availability
- Work on a rotating shift schedule, including Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays as required.
- Maintain punctuality and reliability to keep the warehouse running 24/7.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates only (as per client specification).
- Age not exceeding 35 years.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in warehouse operations, preferably in FMCG or beverage distribution.
- Proficiency with inventory management tools, Microsoft Excel, and basic WMS functions.
- Strong attention to detail, especially when checking expiration dates and order accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight dispatch deadlines, and adapt to shift changes.
- Good communication skills for interacting with suppliers, transport partners, and internal teams.
- Physical stamina to lift and move boxes up to 25 kg and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to be based at the Cibitung warehouse (Bekasi) for the long term.
