Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and submit all mandatory tax filings, including PPh, PPN, SPT, and e‑Faktur, in strict accordance with the latest DJP regulations.
- Utilize the Coretax (Cortex) system for accurate tax reporting, ensuring timely submission and error‑free documentation.
- Conduct comprehensive tax planning analyses to optimize the company’s tax position while maintaining full compliance with Indonesian tax law.
- Monitor updates to tax legislation and proactively communicate changes that could affect the organization’s fiscal strategy.
- Collaborate with the finance, legal, and operations departments to align tax strategies with broader business objectives.
- Maintain meticulous records of all tax‑related documentation, guaranteeing confidentiality and data security.
- Provide internal training and guidance to junior staff on tax procedures, best practices, and system usage.
- Support external audits by preparing required documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Analyze cost structures and budget variances to identify potential tax savings and improve overall financial efficiency.
- Participate in cross‑functional projects that enhance the company’s compliance framework and risk management processes.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Taxation, or a closely related field.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in corporate tax compliance, preferably within a medium‑to‑large Indonesian enterprise.
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of current tax regulations, including PPh, PPN, SPT, e‑Faktur, and related administrative requirements.
- Proficiency in using the Coretax (Cortex) DJP platform for tax reporting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop and implement effective tax planning strategies.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and a methodical approach to documentation.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—in Bahasa Indonesia and preferably English.
- Demonstrated integrity and the ability to handle confidential financial data responsibly.
