Introduction

We are seeking a diligent and detail‑oriented Staff Accountant – Financial Records Management to join our growing finance team. This full‑time position offers a dynamic work environment where precision, compliance, and proactive communication are essential. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of our financial data, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and reported in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements.

The role is based at our main office with standard working hours from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday through Friday. While the exact day‑to‑day schedule will be confirmed during onboarding, candidates can expect a collaborative atmosphere, opportunities for professional growth, and exposure to a broad range of accounting functions within a reputable organization.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and submit periodic financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update the general ledger, recording all financial transactions in accordance with company SOPs.
  • Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to guarantee consistency across all financial records.
  • Assist in the preparation of month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing activities, including journal entries and variance analysis.
  • Monitor and control cash flow, preparing cash forecasts and supporting treasury operations when needed.
  • Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audit processes, providing required documentation and explanations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and efficiency gains within the accounting workflow.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, corporate policies, and international accounting standards where applicable.
  • Support cross‑functional teams by delivering financial insights that aid strategic decision‑making.
  • Maintain organized and secure filing systems for all accounting records, both physical and digital.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in corporate accounting, preferably within a manufacturing or services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and management accounting principles.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MYOB) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, and the ability to work independently while meeting strict deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
  • Gender: Female (as specified by the hiring policy).
