Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present a wide variety of dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain strict hygiene and food safety protocols, ensuring all ingredients are stored, handled, and cooked properly.
- Collaborate closely with sous‑chefs, kitchen assistants, and front‑of‑house staff to guarantee smooth service flow.
- Monitor inventory levels, assist in ordering supplies, and minimize waste through efficient portion control.
- Develop and refine menu items, suggesting innovative plating techniques and seasonal ingredients.
- Train junior kitchen staff on proper cooking methods, knife skills, and workplace safety.
- Adhere to the shift schedule (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00) and remain flexible for occasional overtime during peak periods.
- Conduct regular equipment checks, reporting any maintenance needs to ensure uninterrupted kitchen operations.
- Participate in weekly kitchen meetings, providing feedback on workflow improvements and new culinary trends.
- Uphold the restaurant’s brand reputation by delivering consistently excellent food quality and presentation.
Requirements
- Gender: Female (Perempuan)
- Maximum age: 45 years
- Education: Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent; a diploma in Culinary Arts (Tata Boga) is highly preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience in the culinary or food service industry, with a focus on cooking and food presentation.
- Technical skills: Strong cooking techniques, knowledge of food safety regulations, and ability to work with a variety of kitchen equipment.
