We are seeking a seasoned Business English Trainer who can design and deliver high‑impact, results‑driven training programs for adult professionals. This full‑time position operates Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, and offers the chance to work both online and on‑site with a diverse roster of corporate clients.
Responsibilities
- Deliver dynamic, interactive Business English lessons to groups of 5‑20 adult learners, adapting delivery style for virtual classrooms or face‑to‑face settings.
- Conduct needs‑analysis interviews with client HR teams to align training objectives with company goals, industry jargon, and specific job functions.
- Design customized curricula that cover workplace communication, presentation skills, negotiation tactics, email etiquette, and customer‑service dialogues.
- Create authentic role‑plays, case studies, and simulations that reflect real‑world scenarios in hospitality, finance, technology, and other sectors.
- Develop assessment tools—pre‑tests, quizzes, and performance rubrics—to track learner progress and demonstrate measurable improvement.
- Provide detailed feedback reports to participants and corporate stakeholders, highlighting strengths, areas for growth, and recommended next steps.
- Maintain up‑to‑date training materials, leveraging multimedia resources, Microsoft Office suite, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Mentor junior trainers, share best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of Active English Bali’s corporate program portfolio.
- Participate in regular faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and client debrief sessions to ensure alignment with industry standards.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (English, Education, Linguistics, or related field). A Master’s degree is a plus.
- At least 3 years of proven experience teaching English to adult learners in a corporate or professional environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in Business English, ESP (English for Specific Purposes), or Hospitality English.
- Familiarity with IELTS, TOEFL, or TOEIC preparation and assessment methods is advantageous.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Canvas).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate busy professionals and sustain high attendance rates.
- Ability to design lesson plans that are goal‑oriented, outcome‑focused, and adaptable to varying proficiency levels.
