We are seeking a skilled Mekanik Alat Berat – Perawatan & Perbaikan Mesin Konstruksi to join our workshop in Sosok, Sanggau. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the reliability, safety, and performance of our trucks, excavators, and other construction vehicles that serve a wide range of infrastructure projects across the region.

Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and detailed servicing of heavy‑duty trucks, excavators, and related construction machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults using both manual techniques and diagnostic tools; provide accurate, timely repairs.
- Disassemble and reassemble engines, transmissions, differentials, and other critical components, ensuring proper torque specifications and alignment.
- Perform adjustments, part replacements, and calibrations on braking systems, suspension, steering, and cooling systems.
- Maintain comprehensive service records, log work orders, and update inventory of spare parts and consumables.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, company SOPs, and industry standards (ISO 9001, OSHA) to protect personnel and equipment.
- Collaborate closely with fleet managers, drivers, and customer service teams to communicate vehicle status, expected downtime, and recommended improvements.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
- Assist in the development of preventive maintenance schedules and suggest cost‑effective solutions to extend equipment lifespan.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; technical certification in automotive or mechanical engineering is highly preferred.
- At least 3 years of proven experience as a heavy‑vehicle mechanic, preferably working with units such as Canter, Hino JJ/JD, Euro 2/4, Fuso, and Nissan trucks.
- Demonstrated competence in engine teardown and rebuild, transmission and differential disassembly, and electrical system troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose complex mechanical and electronic failures quickly and accurately.
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity to handle heavy components and work in demanding workshop conditions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and clients.
- Male candidates only, as specified by the client’s current operational requirements.
- Flexibility to work six days a week (Monday‑Saturday) from 08:00 to 17:00, with occasional overtime during peak project periods.
