Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Mechanic for Light and Heavy Vehicles to join our growing technical team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in automotive maintenance, be able to work across a variety of vehicle types, and demonstrate a strong work ethic. This role offers the opportunity to develop expertise in both light‑weight passenger cars and heavy‑duty trucks, while supporting our nationwide network of service centers.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on light‑weight cars, vans, and heavy‑duty trucks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid inspections.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using diagnostic tools, scan equipment, and hands‑on testing procedures.
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and steering components according to manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of vehicle chassis, drivetrains, and hydraulic systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate service records, log parts usage, and document all work performed in the company’s service management system.
- Collaborate with senior technicians and service advisors to prioritize work orders, estimate repair times, and communicate findings to customers in clear, non‑technical language.
- Ensure workshop cleanliness and organization, adhering to ISO‑9001 and occupational health & safety standards.
- Participate in continuous training programs, staying current with emerging automotive technologies such as hybrid powertrains, telematics, and advanced driver‑assistance systems (ADAS).
- Assist in the training of junior mechanics and apprentices, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of teamwork.
- Willingness to relocate or travel to any of our branch locations across the country, providing on‑site support when needed.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent technical certification.
- Male candidates preferred, but all genders are welcome to apply.
- Maximum age of 30 years.
- Honesty, perseverance, and strong sense of responsibility.
- At least 0‑2 years of hands‑on experience in automotive maintenance; prior experience with both light and heavy vehicles is a distinct advantage.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and interpreting technical manuals.
- Ability to work flexible hours, Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
- Willingness to be assigned to any branch location nationwide.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with customers and team members.
